  1. It would be very nice to have the instrumentation of the opera and other works involving orchestra added to this list in due course.

  2. Hi, I am interested in Tovey´s cadenzas to Beethoven and Brahms violin concertos, may you tell me where can I buy these works? Thanks.

  3. I have recorded the trio for E.H., piano and violin and it has just been released on CD. In the meantime I have lost the piano e advise. and violin parts. Schott does not publish this work anymore. How can I obtain the piano and violin parts? Please advise. I would be delighted to send the Society a copy of the recording if I know where and to whom I should send it. Thank you, M. Jakes Fournet

  4. Dear Miriam,
I have the score of the Tovey trio op.14 for piano, violin and english horn published by Schott as a digital .doc file and would be happy to send it to you. However the file is 17 MB and I would suggest I copy it to a CD-ROM and send it to you by post. So please send your postal address to my email address peterrshore@hotmail.com. My paternal grandmother was Donald Tovey’s first cousin which is why I have taken an interest in him and his music and why I started this website. However I do not plan to start a Tovey society. I am the producer of all the Tovey CDs in the discography on this site and I am thinking of expanding the discography with all the Tovey recordings I can find. I did think of recording op. 14 with piano, violin and viola but have decided to keep it in reserve as you have already recorded it. I would love to hear your recording of the trio for E.H. and would be happy to include details of it in the discography on the Tovey site.
    best wishes,
    Peter Shore
